Induction of the President 2025 – Dr. Kusum Ratnayake

The College of Ophthalmologists of Sri Lanka (COSL) will formally install Dr. Kusum Ratnayake as its new President on January 26 at the Shangri-La Lotus Ballroom. The ceremony will be graced by distinguished guests, including Dr. Anil Jasinghe, Secretary to the Ministry of Health and Mass Media, and renowned ophthalmologist Dr. Charith Fonseka. The outgoing President, Dr. Amila De Silva, will also attend. Dr. Ratnayake, a Consultant in Cornea and External Eye Diseases at the National Eye Hospital, specializes in Cornea, External Eye Diseases, and Refractive Surgery. He will take over the role of President of the COSL from Dr. Amila De Silva.
